On behalf of our client, a reputable audit firm committed to providing high-quality audit, assurance, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Auditor in Pafos.
Our client is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Role Overview:
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for the execution and review of audit work and preparation of Audited Financial Statements.
What you be involved in:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Plan and execute audit engagements, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and documentation, while adhering to audit methodologies and standards.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data, systems, and processes to identify weaknesses, irregularities, and areas of risk.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for strengthening controls and improving operational efficiency.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit workpapers that document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to gather relevant information, clarify audit objectives and communicate audit findings effectively.
- Review and analyze client policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging accounting pronouncements, regulatory changes, and industry trends to maintain a high level of professional expertise.
- Participate in meetings with clients to discuss audit findings, provide valuable insights, and offer recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of audit programs, methodologies, and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
- Qualified or partly qualified or new student (ACCA/ACA)
- Preferably 3 years of relevant auditing experience
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Knowledge of Auditing and ISAs will be considered as an advantage.

- Excellent command of Microsoft Office
