On behalf of our client, a reputable Accounting and Audit firm committed to top-tier accounting, assurance, and financial advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Accounting Officer, in Paphos.

Our client is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Role Overview:

As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining adherence with accounting rules, and contributing to the preparation of financial statements.

What you will be involved in:

• Managing financial records, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures and regulations.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Collaborating with team members under guidance of the Department Head, to ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks and adherence to project deadlines.
• Analyzing and reviewing clients’ financial information and preparing accounting files and reports.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting programs, methodologies and tools.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• No experience is required but will be considered as an advantage.
• Α Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA) will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
