QA & Support Officer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a passionate and driven QA & Support Officer with exceptional communication skills as well as passion for innovation and problem-solving. The company is a versatile and innovative technology company with offices in Nicosia, that has been enabling digital transformation solutions for financial institutions for the past 24 years and it’s expanded in more than 30 countries around the world.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gain deep understaning in customer problems referred by support
- Provide onsite or online training to clients
- Understand and analyze business requirements, features, and implementation
- Provide feedback and support to external and internal clients to ensure issues are being huddled effectively and timely
- Collaborate with QA & Support team members to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Document test cases and create test plans
- Identify end-to-end and/or repeated test cases
- Analyse and implement quality assurance standards
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Use Jira software identify bugs and errors
- Communicate with Developers and Business Analysts for clarification and reporting of malfunctions
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Other related responsibilities
Must haves
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English both written and spoken
- Computer literacy
- Communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
- Ability to gather information and disseminate information in a variety of formats
- Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Extra advantages:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- Prior job experience in financial/banking or in a client-facing role
- Prior experience in training others
- Familiarity with software quality assurance approaches, tools, and procedures
