Our client, a well-established and recognised technology company, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join its expanding team.

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you be involved in:

• Review and analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation

• Prepare and maintain detailed test plans and test cases

• Execute manual and automated testing activities and evaluate test results

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional and regression testing

• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools

• Work closely with development and business teams to investigate and resolve issues

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and standards

• Support additional testing and quality-related activities as required

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Up to 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar rolw

• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles

• Strong analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

An Advantage If You Have

• Experience with automated testing tools

• Familiarity with issue tracking platforms such as Jira

• Knowledge of SQL and scripting

• Experience working within Agile development environments
