Our client, a well-established and recognised technology company, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join its expanding team.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
What you be involved in:
Review and analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation
Prepare and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
Execute manual and automated testing activities and evaluate test results
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional and regression testing
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools
Work closely with development and business teams to investigate and resolve issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and standards
Support additional testing and quality-related activities as required
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Up to 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar rolw
Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles
Strong analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
An Advantage If You Have
Experience with automated testing tools
Familiarity with issue tracking platforms such as Jira
Knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working within Agile development environments
