On behalf of our client, an established and growing professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking an experienced Accountant / Auditor to join their team.
Our client provides a broad range of audit, accounting, tax and business advisory services, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with a strong commitment to professionalism, quality and high standards of client service.

The Role
The successful candidate will undertake a range of accounting and/or audit responsibilities, depending on their professional background and experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate accounting and bookkeeping records.
· Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and IFRS.
· Prepare and maintain audit files and support audit engagements.
· Use CaseWare for the preparation of financial statements and/or management of audit files.
· Perform bookkeeping and accounting activities using E-Soft.
· Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns.
· Support payroll-related activities, where required.
· Review accounting records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Liaise professionally with clients on accounting and audit-related matters.
· Support the wider team with accounting, audit and other financial assignments as required.
Candidate Profile
· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting and/or auditing.
· Proven hands-on experience with CaseWare, particularly in financial statement preparation and/or management of audit files.
· Practical experience with E-Soft accounting software for bookkeeping and/or payroll.
· Strong knowledge of local accounting principles and IFRS.
· Good command of English, both written and spoken.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good analytical, organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
· Professional, responsible and collaborative approach.
What They Offer
· Gross monthly salary of €2,000–€2,300, depending on experience and qualifications.
· Performance-related bonus.
